North + Nature
Our Story

Before we built for others,
we built our own.

Living small has given us less clutter, less upkeep, and more time outside. It’s also taught us what a small home really needs to work day after day, and that’s what we bring to every home we build.

How North + Nature started

We’re Olivia and Luccas, a couple of ten years, building tiny homes on our family’s land in Maine. We live in a tiny home ourselves, and we started North + Nature to help more people experience this way of living and to help the tiny home community grow. Olivia has a background in architectural design and handles the architectural plans, finishes, and custom cabinetry. Luccas is an engineer turned contractor who handles the plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and construction of every home. We build every home together, start to finish.

We don’t cut corners on the structure or the design. All of our homes are built to the NOAH standard (a third-party safety inspection for tiny homes on wheels) and made to handle harsh winters. Every layout is planned around how its owner will actually live. Our goal is simple: well-built, handcrafted homes that people own, instead of homes that own them.

Our mission

Well-built homes, sized to the life you want.

Whether it’s a first home, a guesthouse, or a cabin by the lake, we build tiny homes that are thoughtfully designed, built to last, and made for the way you actually live.

See how it's done.

We document every build closely on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, so anyone curious about this life can see exactly how it comes together.
